Oatlands and Callington Mill

The town of Oatlands between Hobart and Launceston was home for a few days. The historic flour mill produces flour which is used by the local bakery. At least the bakers work to our time. The hot loaves didn't come out of the oven until 9am. Perfect.

Kicking Back on Bruny

A week at Jetty Beach on Bruny Island was perfect for a bit of relaxation and absorbing Tasmania "summer style".............

From our camp at Port Huon, the boys sat and watched this bushfire while the girls were stuck on the other side....

Helicopters were quickly on the job...
